By Sophia Westover

My film is about the fashion industry’s detrimental impact on the environment and the ways that sustainable fashion has emerged to change our consumption habits. Through student interviews, personal experience and online research, this documentary tells the story of how everyday people have recognized their impact and made changes in fashion consumption. It identifies the best tactics to improve our fashion consumption choices and hope to tell the story of the changing fashion industry with a focus on Madison.
