I made the documentary “Cover Girls” about the drag queens and drag culture at This Is It! bar in Milwaukee, WI. I thought that this underground community needed to be brought to the big screen. The queens bring riveting stories topped with a cinched waist and a big lash.

Meet the Filmmaker
I am a senior at UW double majoring in journalism and French with certificates in digital studies, digital cinema production, and sports communication. After graduation, I am looking to start a career in documentary filmmaking with an emphasis on sports media. Aside from school, I enjoy biking, listening to podcasts and watching Wisconsin sports.
